Enjoy your trip, and hopefully the baby shower! Yes, it's just about mandatory these days that guys attend. Should be better than girlie ones of old... Oh, and sorry I didn't see this post before you posted your haiku.

Never heard of that one Naut. Do take some photos if it is allowed. You know they will all try and pin a nappy on you. Good luck on your travells.

I have never been to a baby shower either, although I have heard that some are welcoming men nowadays. It looks like you have come acorss one of those.

I think I might enjoy a baby shower that included men a lot more than the traditional ones... maybe it will be more like a party and less like a shower? But that's doubtful. You're a good sport to attend!

Have a wonderful trip wherever you end up. My Sister just before Christmas spent 2 weeks in Vienna then flew to London for 2 weeks. She said wherever she went people everywhere were so kind to her. Even giving up their seat on the tube! She was travelling with her daughter.
