I find auctions to be fascinating from what I see on TV. I would like to see one myself.

Never much got into the auction spirit, but I do enjoy a TV show
"Texas Flip and Move," where bidders buy houses/sheds/etc. and move them to a lot where they remodel and flip them - also at auction - to make a profit. The buyers get a nice renovated place fairly cheaply, and there are competitive flippers who guesstimate how much or whether they can make a little money for their deal...

Yes it used to be fun here, but I think the charity shops siphon up most oddments. You a have a good eye for a bargain. I used to love to buy a box of mixed trinkets.

Oh what a fun day. I used to go to auctions in Sydney years ago. Not so much to buy as to watch and could fill in a day having fun....sometimes I did buy. Needed a microwave one time and the winner only wanted one so the rest were offered to indivuduals at the same price. So went home with a microwave oven for peanuts. Used to go to jewellery auctions too. Ir was lovely to see all those beautiful baubles.
