A beautiful and touching post.....  and one that shares a common thread with my latest post over in Religion and Spirituality.

You write  "Even the deluded and insane who commit atrocities must be eventually forgiven, for without forgiveness, the unearthing of knowledge cannot take place and begin to reveal the light of our shared commonality and humanity - this will be the dawn of healing and peace; won't ever be perfect on this plane but can be perfected more and more as time evolves into infinity."

My post was about the philosophy of Immanuel Kant,  arguing for the existence of God,  immortality,  and a universal moral order.  The eventual alignment of our individual morality with God's..... is something that will take a long long time..... far longer than one human lifetime,  longer than many human lifetimes.  And as you imply,  it does not condemn evil ones to eternal Hell.  The evil ones,  of whatever religion or no religion,  should always have a potential to repent and reform.

But I would say that the evil ones must reach a point where they WANT to repent and return to the fold of goodness..... like the Prodigal Son in the great parable of Jesus.  The father's forgiveness was always there,  but the evil son had to reach a low point and transform himself before he became able to receive the forgiveness.  Could this be your "unearthing of knowledge",  a moral knowledge that was buried under the filth in the evil son's heart?

Darling friend...

What a wonderful, hope filled post. I do try to love all of creation, well Spiders are tough, but I appreciate their importance in keeping other bugs and flying insects in check.
