Sorry to hear about your troubles. I am praying for your speedy recovery. I too have taken a vacation from Blogit, an actual planned vacation in Thailand. I have ridden mountain bicycles with a friend, down a tropical mountain in Chiang Mai, almost 4000 feet in elevation down the mountain. Rumors of my demise, if any, are also an outrageous exaggeration, LOL

I'm glad to see that you are well enough to return to posting. There has been some sort of nasty bug going around...I tend to use a PC for Blogit posting, reading, writing and commenting.

Welcome to Blogit Naut. The same virus has been all around here, well some virus. I found a drop of the hard stuff was good as anything, we have bird flu here as well I am keeping my eye on a right scruffy pigeon. Get well soon and so sorry about the lady love.

It is good that Naut's welt is beginning to include Blogit once more. We did miss you. There is no umwelt here, not unless there is some mousy hiding in the woodwork and coming out after dark searching for crumbs of bacon.

Glad you were feeling up to posting today! It's peaceful reading with no news to speak of on tv. So sorry you and your LSW got sick. And at the same time! Yikes! And then the poor lady falling. And the heater going out! Just relax, the both of you, as best you can and be well.

My goodness you folks have had a rough time! I get it with the furnace going out! The first month after I moved in my furnace went out and the gas fireplace wouldn't light. I got lucky and a fireplace guy made it within a day! My son brought over space heaters, and you're so right on the fact with them running at full blast the house never got warm. I had to replace the furnace! Thankfully my son is in HVAC and I got a great deal! So sorry about your wife, that's an awful thing to have happen! YIKES!!! sam

Poor LSW she has had such a miserable time and to end up in hospital after a fall is no fun. I am comforted that the animal family members are all well, that is wonderful.
Oh, & ps....glad the rumors aren't true about your demise, and you too are on the mend.
