June set quite a high bar for us with her pearl earrings, perfectly coiffed hair, high heels and immaculately spotless clothes and house! I can live with my imperfection.

i suppose one cannot buy hairnets these days my Mum wore them when she was younger. Or turbans the Mill girls wore. i suppose you could get a beret my gran wore a cap but she chopped wood with a big axe when she was over seventy.

Love the PSDS thing. That soft Missouri speech must sound odd
at times to someone who clips and snips the words as in Boston.... When it's windy out, even if it's not cold, I wear a knit beanie to keep the hair attached on one end.
