Crossing my fingers for good results for your son who's
waiting for the reading of the scan. Stay warm - the cold snap will end in a few days and the snow will melt. I'm not much for cabbage soup, but a pot of beans would be nice here to the east of KC - where the forecast is like yours but a day later.

The cold has arrived here, with snow, dry and powdery, with hoarfrost on the trees and grass. Main roads are clear as the snow blows away.
