It was part of what I asked for, discussing our terms, and as the hotel was a sponsor of the event, it was a natural fit. And a really nice room!

I never even thought about the plank either, and Son #3 was at one time a pirate in The Pirates of Penzance, and another time, Long John Silver in a kids play. You gotta have a plank.

What a great concept with the travelling stage and the dress-up box! Super pictures! And so happy that you are in a nice hotel - it helps focus after a comfy night's sleep.
