Atta girl, LOL! He deserved what he got, and what he got was doubly painful! His nose healed in a couple of days, but if the code there was anything like ours, he never lived it down that he was beaten by a girl! In our neighborhood boys just didn't fight girls, period; but if the boy had done so and lost, that would have been it...

Didn't want to say it as I was reading about the bullies, because I wasn't sure how your story would play out, but that's how our hassle finally ended too. They pushed us once too often. I lost it, and the big bugger couldn't walk without pain for a week after. The bullies took their place and backed off, even showed some respect. Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire! Good on you, Pat-B!

Wonderful, that was the day you came into your own gutsy girl. LOL Sounded even like you had a Canuck type winter as well.

It was a proper come-uppance, but I am sorry to see this series conclude.
