Miracles can happen when they are given the room and time to work. I think of vets who would have shaken their heads sadly and suggested euthanasia.

I raced through this story to read how it ended then went back and read it properly then read it again to screech at whoever hurt your doggie and smile and congratulate your Mother on her ability to save the little soul and had a lump in my throat at the ending. That is writing.
