I was initially very "nervous" about working with Create Space, waiting for the big hammer to fall and them charge me several hundred bucks for something. It didn't happen. I ordered three of each book they did and was fairly impressed with them. I think I said somewhere I keep about 25 - 30 copies of each book at home for book signings. So far, I've had no issues getting paid by Amazon as I have so many up there, I hit their minimum for books most months and on the months that I don't, I get paid for my ebooks.I see you have three books up there and I'll buy one of each this week.I'm also going to buy Wiley's book. The kind of information he has would be invaluable to me.

Thank you for your post about me and my book and your suggestions. Fact is that publisher I had even put their own copyright on my book using my 'nom de plume' for the name on the copyright. I have copyrighted the book myself at the beginning naturally but they paid no attention to that
I wrote an 'infringement' letter to Amazon and it took two months to hear back from them telling me after all the documentation I sent them that they couldn't help me. Amazon is just as crooked as the publisher in my view.
Now what I did was get on the chat site with First Edition and asked them to cancel my book and was told they will do that but it will take two months.
My book was first properly published in 1985 under another name and it ws all straight forward, the publisher did everything and paid me all my royalties.
Now I'm done with publishing it just isn't worth the effort, I'm done and I'm 80 years old. Thanks for your writing about me.

Most interested in what you say especially about Create Space because they are who I work with and I also put Tom Ugly on kindle. I think that ebooks are the only way to make money. Create space don't pay me until it reaches $100. But I have given heaps of books away as gifts. They make great cheap gifts. LOL i get a small payment every 3 months from Kindle.
