I hope you do not have large trees near your house. I'll tell a little story an old man told me once that he had always been afraid of wind and gales. The reason was he explained that when small his family lived in a thatched cottage and every time there was a storm or fierce wind the old man walked up and down,up and down. He said the little kids were traumatized by his behavior. No tele to divert the attention.

Strong winds seem to be a regular thing in the spring and summer here, and being very dry air, the winds are devastating to tender plants! But this year, I hid the snow pea sprouts from the winds, and might actually bring some to flower and pea pods.

Hail can do a number on them, too, so I either bring them in or protect them with little screens and wire cages.

I am glad the electric worked out to where you were able to pop in.

Freaky weather lately - we seem to be getting lots more extreme

rains, windstorms, massive lightning... globally.

Yes - my trees were dancing around outside last night...was fascinating to watch. And the beasts are all trying to crawl onto my lap...even Bandit. So your weather must be heading this way..Stay safe!

Hi, Kabu

Reminds me of my days back in Rajasthan. Tree-tops bent, no leaves and wind-swept.

Oh, wow! That tree looks like quite a wind got to it! Do take care. Doesn't seem like weather fun to be out in. I hope your garden is fine after the wind settles down. No, it is not appropriate to blast through Northern Camelot with winds like that!
