The kids and I are trying to help

Me and the kids live in Barrhead Alberta. its a ways from us but there is alot of familys coming here too. So yesterday when my daughter Monica and I went to the store we picked up pampers, baby cloths since there was two babys born that day too. Later today I will be taking food to the local food bank. I have had to go there many times before. Now is my turn to repay, not just for our local families but for other familes too.

Prayer is what we have to accept that horror and contribute what we can materially. I love you.

Yes we don't need wars, there are enough problems coping with natural disasters. This is really terrible.

My heart goes out to the people as well. I hope that fire ceases. We are very fortunate in Maryland not to have major forest fires.

Kabu

Absolutely terrible! And they expect to be battling these fires for months! And they will also affetc our weather - the tiny smoke particles being blown our way will probably help produce more rain than we would normally get...

It is awful.  I am appalled at the immensity of it and the people who have lost everything and will have to begin all over.

I grew up in western Washington, in the lower slopes of the Cascades,

and we were super conscious of forest fire danger. I've always hated and feared them. I hope they get some good rain soon and put a stop to it.
