Re: Re:Nautikos

I meant that Zeus probably planned the skies out, being Zeus - not that he planned for the phone call to interrupt you. LOL!

Re:Nautikos

Don't you hate when that happens? LOL! That's ok, it's still a funny one. Zeus probably planned it that way, being Zeus.

RP

I was interrupted by a phone call when I wrote my comment earlier and forgot to press the 'Add' button - anyway, it was something silly about Zeus having to adjust and deal with the Sun in light of (pun fully intended) current development in astrophysics, LOL...

Re: kasperhoe

Thank you. It was written with thoughts of a message of hope and Light, in spite of any and all darkness. In Roman mythology, Jupiter rules the skies, is King of the gods, and the lightening bolt is one of his symbols. The eagle is his messenger, in some versions.

Re: C_C_T

Tis but a hope for Light

so the eagle won't chase the kite!

great piece
As I started reading the poem I thought: "Sounds like the end of all times." But as I read the ending of the poem I thought: "Thank God, sounds like there is still a hope."

So nicely written RP. you probably are spot on with part of your prophesy, but I don't think we need worry too much, well hopefully not. Nonetheless if I see eagles chasing our Red Kite I will be concerned.

The storm lends itself to a lot of intense imagery.
