Re: So very sorry, Annicita..

I am not ready to forgive him...maybe never...I just let go of the anger...I don't talk about him if I can help it

Re:

Thank you...mom said she cried enough tears over him....It's rare to see her cry...she must have hidden it from us

SO sorry A. We can't help loving our parents even if we feel they have mistreated us.

Be brave dearie.

So very sorry, Annicita..

I had a similar thing with my father and struggled with it for a long time. This may sound strange, but I had dreams eventually of my father basically telling me he could hear me and I believe this was a sign that he knew I had forgiven him and that all was well between us. I send healing thoughts to your dear Mother and condolences to all...

I am sorry also. So much at once is a heavy burden. I think forgiveness can be a type of freedom. Also a source of empowerment! Intellectual forgiveness doesn't necessarily have to be emotional forgiveness. And may your mom feel better, also!

Annicita

I'm really sorry - that's a lot of bad news to deal with all at once! I really hope your Mom will recover, and I'm sure you will find it in your hear to forgive your Dad...

Condolences, my friend...

For whatever this is worth, there is the notion that those who have passed on "now" know if someone left behind is/was of the thought to forgive...God Bless.
