Re: Pat,

He really never stops! Tonight we go to a show for which he has made several intricate props. The books gave rise to the Eggs and the Masks...  and he is making 'coins' as give-away thank-you tokens for those who donate to him when he goes out busking. He will also make things by commission to anyone who offers him a job.

The books, by the way, are built up on actual old volumes. One is a book of Spanish poetry, another is a book of Scientology.

Re: TAPS,

Alice and Crumpet would quickly and busily reduce the Vool to litter.

Re: Kabu,

Isn't amazing how much personality there is in a bunch of sticks?

Mr G would look at the gerbils and see SNACKS!  Davy looks, and sees... confusion!  Are they food, are they friends? They look at him and see, I suspect, Another Big Thing Staring.

Re: Naut,

He has a stack of twigs and branches in the yard: there will be more of Vool-kind! I think he may be planning to use them for a fundraiser. Would you like to contribute to his Voolishness?

Charlie has an amazing eye -- I snooped through his other bits

while checking out his puppet. Those book covers are downright scary. If that wouldn't get a kid to read, I don't know what would.  Vool!  rhymes with ...

How would Alice and Crumpet react to the Vool?

davy is doing what Mr. Graysome would love to do...and the puppet is brilliant. I love it. A fairy creature from the woods. Perhaps the keeper of the Sprite.
