Being Creative
We are all creative. The urge to build and express ourselves is inherent in us all. The trouble is that today`s world creativity is often constrained. We find creative people developing new tectnology. There`s nothing wrong with that. But the downside is that many people prefer the freedom to be creative without having to make a dollar from it. Just look at Vincent Van Gogh whose art sells at auction for millions. While living, Vincent sold only one painting. He received no recognition for his creativity.
NikolaTesla is another such genius. He too was unrecognized for his creativity.
There are hundreds of people whose talents aren`t appreciated, yet could elevate life and living to new heights.
The problems stem from the need to make profits from creativity. Anyone operating outside of the circle is often shunned by society.

Yes, I agree!
I wish more and more people could see their creativity inside, from numbers to pictures, from words to actions . . .thank you for blogging this. Especially the young people need to see this.

Have you ever taken your wood art to the SantaCaliGon Fest in Independence, MO? I saw something like what you describe there. They have many, many tented booths there with so much creative arts and crafts.
