Goodness Ciel you make me feel full up and of course that is the wrong right way to cook a turkey. Any way we only have a small portion to cook at Christmas although I miss the parson's nose.

That is interesting how you all got snow. In Maryland, it was the warmest Thanksgiving that I can recall...The leftovers are going to be a joy.

Well, if you've got to have drama, it's great to have this kind of

drama where adversity is overcome and everyone lives happily thereafter. I love the mental image of the trees with fog frozen on them - saw it once on a trip through the Rockies in October of '93. Wow!

Oh boy, that could have been nasty, with someone getting burned! I'm sure glad a late turkey - I mean a delayed late turkey - okay, a delayed turkey was the only consequence of that mishap...
