exactly and no one should sit down with a group of health care workers at lunch time unless they have a storng stomach and an appreciation for black humor.

Ahhh yes. I hear that. I had people vomit on me and twice even in my mouth while doing mouth to mouth. I'm sure if I could find the words to explain what goes through your mind when that happens. Unless you've walked in the white shoes....

thank you for clearing up that point for me. And I do understand what you say about nobody knows until the situation is in front of them. Some of the best nursing staff on the ward would freeze at an emergency while I just got on with the job...UNLESS I was on the respiratory ward...Sputum of all things makes me gag. Never mind all the other stuff I can handle any amount of that, but cough up yellow and green from a lung and I'll vomit immediately.
