I am sorry for your feelings over your sister darlin' but really we could have taken them to the Ottawa river and the Mall theatre love.

Funny my siblings and of course me, we quarreled relentlessly. Dad always kept a stick under the table at Sunday lunch and said the first one who starts it will get it. Now we have have become just one family, I could have murdered them at times but, blood is blood and I guess that is a good reason. One cannot condemn others for what they do, because it is not your life. Some are born harder than others and show traits which lie deep in all family history. Some are even softer-hearted and yet not have the ability to emphasize with a sibling. Don't worry she still loves you.

My father and aunt are not close. I myself do not see things ever changing between them.

Hopefully, things change between you and your sister.

Well, I don't travel beyond the county line any more, but if I did,

I'd go visit my little sis for a day or so. She's a kick and we have so many jokes nobody else would ever understand, but she's also a bit opinionated, so a couple of days would
be just the right amount of time for the warm and fuzzies without the old rivalries. And most likely our Naut is correct, it's the Danube that appeals over Camelot North...

My Kansas City Sis made that same cruise a couple of years ago, with a side trip to Prague, and just loved it.  She came back with lovely souvenirs for everyone.  I was just glad to have her back when it was over.  As you say, it doesn't really seem very safe thing to do right now.

Oh it is okay. You have a sister, you said you love her. That in and of itself is a joy. I have neigher and I truly miss that. Hopefully she will come later. I have heard that is one awesome cruise.

Kabu
In this case I don't think it had anything to do with the sisterly relationship - it was more a matter of choosing between Vienna, Budapest and Venice on the one hand, and Pembroke, Ontario on the other, LOL...:)
