Spiders give me the creeps. I cannot get rid of them fast enough when I see them. At Location D's vending machines, we would get the occaisonal spider web. One time I did not see it and walked right through it. Eek!

Well, the tensile strength of a spider web is something I've read about,

but I had no idea they were strong enough to resist the suction of a shop vacuum... Wow! I'm sorry the web-builder did not survive, but she was in your territory. I'm fairly certain she wouldn't just allow you to pick her up and find a nice bush for her to decorate.

Kabu

I hope the death of that spider was an accident - I don't want to think of you as a ruthless killer...

Now I feel sad for the spider, but life goes on. Hope the seat was not damp, one has to think of these things. We need the rain of course, but it does make it seem shivery every where. I wish you had a poly tunnel but I expect it would blow away in your Winter. I keep expecting to see a ground frost we usually get one and then it is warmer for a while. Hope -our Wiley is OK.
