As always, I like your abundant flowers, even though I didn't know they're called Sweet Williams, LOL...As to cake, I've still got the taste for it, but I am currently denying myself any such indulgences on the way to a really slim waistline...

i do not put chemicals on my fruit, so i eat the blueberries off the bush just like the birds, and i am leaving most of them for the birds this year as i still have some in the freezer. and when i pick strawberries in the field i eat as i pick. i have been having cravings, and last month it was ice cream, this month it is cake, the birds dont stand a chance of getting any.

You must not let little things upset you, I am persevering
and swallowing the cakes with tonic water. Once I get to eleven stone,
I am eleven five with my clothes on. You can't get rats from mice .

Re: I love Sweet Williams - haven't actually seen any lately - they used to
Oh! no Pat I couldn't hack that, like cheese-cake if it is the real McCoy. I am not so keen on white bread either, I usually buy seeded and then the birds enjoy it it it gets thrown out. I wonder why Sweet Williams are out of favour. Perhaps being bi-annual they do not appear with the bedding plants.

Re:
Yes we are aware of those nasties Bill. I am afraid even the old fashioned stuff would be suspect.

Re: Annicita
Well A. I just trail around taking them not very professionally I must admit. At least they are all fresh, I do not post last years.

I love Sweet Williams - haven't actually seen any lately - they used to
grow "wild" in mother's wildflower garden - which was scattered seeds she'd harvested from year to year. Imagine losing your taste for cake. I avoid it beccause it's mostly baked with wheat flour which doesn't agree with my disgestive system, but it still carries its own appeal - especially chocolate with white cream cheese icing.

feed the little cakes the other side of the house if you can't eat them or give them to the kids as they go by. You do have problems I must say. Wiley is looking too thin as well. I am starting to feel isolated. A plumb pudding on a table full of skinny cheese sticks.
