One year in Bellingham, I think it was...
...they readied a huge firework that was going to spread a mile across the sky... It turned out to be a dud.

Those are some huge fireworks you are writing about there...I had some neighbors a couple houses up shooting fireworks. Thankfully, I have a fan that drowns out the noise.

I love the bright displays but the noise not so much. Used to take the
kids to the show near the Alton Lock & Dam on the Mississippi river 30-40 years ago, it was a nice holiday celebration with their grandma & grandpa.

Very impressive video shot! I used to enjoy fireworks until Bennie became a member of the family - they drive him crazy with fear, and his barking is loud enough to drown out the sound of the rockets...

I used to love watching fireworks. Guess though one gets to a stage where OK seen that enough is enough. LOL
