God love you all and keep you close and feeling protected and cared for. There is a time for everything and your brother has been as great an American as any I have read of. His life seems to epitomize the country we in Australia grew up believing in. I am sorry for you that you cannot make it to say Goodbye and am sending prayers for you all.
