Re:
Yes Taps very frustrating and my toe was nearly killing me until I found the chiropodist had left a wad of cotton wool poked down the side of the nail.

Water leak is a major problem. I had one in my home last year and only knew about it when I got my water bill. A crazy one. It was a slap leak with a $4500 bill.

What a bunch of problems you have had. I think you must have been busy taking care of all of that and scratching your itch all at the same time.

Re:Kabu
Kabu you poor little mite, I love stinging nettles I pull them and steep them in tubs until they smell like an outdoor privy. Next one takes the liquid about the consistency of weak tea if it is a bit too rich. The plants love it one can nearly hear them sqeaking to get a rootful.

Re: Naut
No thank the LORD. That plant gives me the shivers. Many ordinary garden plants can give one a rash if one is susceptible to its chemical content. Plants need to have a bit of protection against bugs I suppose.

I've been experiencing some of that scratchy stuff. A little bit of poison ivy, bug bites.
But the lack of rain in my area has kept the mosquitoes and black flies to a minimum
so far.

As the old saying has it - it never rains, but the rad springs a leak, LOL...And you may have nettles, but you're spared the plague of poison ivy, I believe...

CCT.....
One thing I enjoy about here is no stinging nettles Only poison oak LOL...oh and mosquitoes, black flies, deer flies, and no see-ums ...those tiny weeny little gnats one can't see but they bite like mad. All of which have arrived with the Thunderstorms and warmer weather.
You do seem to be having a bad time with your water works!!! what can I say?
