we have programs like that for wildlife....I've been to a couple of the sanctuaries

I've only seen a couple hedgehogs in my time, they're cute as can be,
but seem a bit vulnerable - as rabbits are. I believe in letting the wild things be wild, and it's so nice to read about someone giving them a hand when things have gone wrong.

No watch out for ticks if it runs in the grass , poor little critters are always smothered in them. I think so many get run over like a lot of wild life. A good job some folk are caring.

i guess that is as it should be. no pet hedhogs. I am always torn between my desire to tame and get to know an animal and keep it safe and what should be....let it free to live as it should.
