Gosh you were quick, to take that photo!  Hope you are over the fall now... my mother fell 1st April and has just gone home from my sister's.  Rang her yesterday to see how the new stairlift was going... a whole other tale, believe me.  Look after yourself x

Careful...excellent picture of that bird. The North Country does experience bitterly

cold weather, black flies...but I love it more than anywhere I have ever been.

There are some wide-tread shoes called Crocs that might give you

a better under "standing" and balance. I really get ticked off when tumbles happen and remind me I ain't the flexible kid I used to be. It's not just the bruises, it's the sense of being vulnerable that bugs me. But you saw a hummingbird!  Worth it!

you are one tough lady...it's like getting on a bike and falling a few times but you always get up, wipe your breeches, inspect the scrapes and then get back on the bike...it was so nice that wiley was immediately there to give you sympathy...take care of where you are walking and what you are doing....those gnomes like to move things around

My dear friend you are making me nervous. I began falling about your age and it increased until my doctor told me a simple thing which I am sure you are aware of but I was not. I don't know all the details but she tells me the right brain is not telling the leg at the speed it needs to be directed correctly, therefore I am a bit just a tad, not noticible but the body notices, amount of time off from step to message. She suggested I be slower and more careful in areas that were at all cumbersom to navigate. Just a thought, you know more about things of the sort than I but this helped me.

I hope that you are now feeling better after that fall...My mother fell on the steps (she did not go to the ground, she remained in place). Thankfully, she was not injured.
