Re: Vermont
I suppose they were hunted more in the old days, You should be pretty healthy eating raw veggie. I think forced rhurbarb is nice with ginger and ice cream. Sadly we have a freezer full of raspberries and blackberries etc to use up. I think they are probably better eaten fresh with double cream/

Re: Taps
Yes the flower is in a plastic tunnel I popped it into a large pot as an experiment it is like a scabious. Called KNAUTIA I think . No one has to be wary of mother pigs with little ones, I picked a piglet up once and the mother pig came tearing through some bushes, I soon dropped her baby.

In the U.S. wild boars are making their way more north every year. I like to boil
rhubarb for about two minutes or so. I eat many raw veggies but not the rhubarb.

They say we have quite a few wild boars here in Missouri but I have never run into one. Regular sows scare me. An uncle used to raise pigs but it got way too smelly.
That's a beautiful flower in the post before this one. Did you grow it?
Oh yes, and I love rhubarb. Grew up with mother making pies and such with it.

Nearer to her I expect . Did she put you over her knee? Raining here at last as Archie said once we get rain we shall have thousands of weeds to contend with. I really like raised beds for the flowers I suppose it is a bit of fun making them.

I think you would have to pay me to take it away Bro. Don't ever chew the leaves, people died in the 1914-1918 war by cooking them'''''

I have never seen a wild boar in person. We do have them in the United States but nowhere in Maryland. The only feral animal I know of in Maryland are cats.
With tomorrow comes a lot of hope.

Why do sisters always have to be so bossy? Mine actually smacked me last November when I was with her because I would not do exactly what she wanted...which was sell our home and go live somewhere with nothing to do.
