I really admire you guys for doing all that work yourself - and yes, I would love to see pictures...

You are keeping very busy with the redecorating.

Ah, Renovations!

I can certainly sympathize with you on this front - the amount of work it takes just to get a room ready is amazing, especially in old homes where you find surprises and construction "quirks" at every turn!  Take your time, and remember: it will be worth it in the end!

Looking forward to seeing pictures

I suppose in the old days people just stuck another layer of wall paper over everything.

I am sure you will make a nice finish eventually and that scrapbook sounds more like a winter occupation, it will be lovely to show how you have endeavored to do your best sometimes in the face of adversity.

Sounds like a monster of a job, should you be doing that with your health situation? Love you both.

Before and after pictures would be great. Now don't you over do the work darlin' lady. And those scrap books will become heirlooms and it is a wonderful thing to gift to your daughter and Grandson.

I remember when I moved into one of my dad's flats.  He paid someone to paint the place but what he did was paint over the wallpaper instead of stripping it!  It took me months to first remove the crappy paint job and then soak off the wallpaper and scrub off the glue and then paint the walls.
