It always seemed to me the flowers bloomed later in Washington
than they do in the St. Louis area - probably because it's a bit further north. But this year is quite a bit different, and our spring blooms are running a week or so later than norm. Glad you enjoyed your Easter with loved ones.

Spring would have to show up here with a huge shovel, LOL. Still can't see any kind of grass, and there is even snow in the trees yet. Glad you are enjoying it, and I'm hoping we'll see some pictures to go along with your descriptions?

A belated Happy Easter to you as well.....I'm glad you are enjoying some flowering....we are in beautiful bloom here, with pinks, whites, yellows, blues, and oranges in full display everywhere I look....well, it splashed a little rain today...we need so much more but it washed the road dust off the blooms for the tourists!
