Sometimes that's referred to as "a blast from the past," especially when you weren't expecting it! I too had been thinking of an 'old friend' lately that I haven't spoken to in quite some time. I wonder if I'll be getting a knock on the door soon . . .

That was nice that they called to say hello to their old ..as in used to live next to...neighbor. So many people move on and you never hear from them again. But then, who wouldn't want to keep in touch with our Pat.

Pleasant surprises like that are so nice! Do you wonder if thinking about them brought them to you? If so, I'm going to sit and think about Brad Pitt....

How nice for the mother to call and no doubt proudly display her offspring.
Seems so many women are left carrying the can, I don't know if it is the same here, but divorced people do get an equal share usually. I do think woman in general are treated better in some countries. Of course far worse in others.

Donating them to the Red Cross, the church groups that help the homeless, etc... And a few have sold at The Center for a buck or two...
