Helpful? That didn't sound very helpful to me! Did he think he was doing you some kind of favor? Well, I don't suppose you own a shot gun, and even if you did, I don't suppose it would come to that. However, 'strike three' could be lethal! I'd lay low if I were him . . .

P.S. Maybe he knew something I did not...
It's Thursday - ten a.m. - and here come the recycling guys, picking up the bins along
our brick street, taking the recycling. So now, if I were to reciprocate his helpfulness, I need to get bundled up and haul his bin to the back. Maybe later, after it warms up to 10 degrees...
