I love your painted rocks. You put Kabu into them and that is great. I love that tree picture at the bottom, does it have a story? Keep painting dear lady.

Anyway it is nice to do something artistic. I expect it keeps you immersed in the art, which can't be bad. Slows the heartbeat probably and aids the digestion. Don't lick the brush though.

It looks like a fun way to paint.  I would love your paintings to have a story behind each to share with us.  You are the person who could do that.

A people's traditional art speaks of their lives and dreams as no words

can. We can choose our words, but the heart and soul comes through the paintbrush or chisel even though the artist's focus is on the visual.  I remember being surprised as a kid to read that some tribes believe the camera steals their soul.

I can understand them not wanting such beautiful art to be 'mass-produced'. It would lose its originality. Your rock is wonderful - what are the dreams behind it, I wonder? A great picture on this post too - one can feel the bitter cold just by looking at it.

Kabu

I like your painting! I also understand that dreamtime philosophy! But I still don't understand how one can outlaw artistic expression of any kind, just because it's done by the 'wrong' people!

Glad to see your luck isn't running out. We were also hit pretty hard with snow.

Best thing about awful weather,

is when you can stay in with warmth, affection and food, and shut the cold and storm out.
