I suppose it is not much fun sitting all day doing that repetitive chore Pat. Although it is part of the job to be sociable as one rather plump mature lady told me 95% are nice customers, but 5% are really horrible.

I don't like chatty kathies because my ice cream or other frozen food will thaw before she finishes. I do prefer someone who is fast and can at least say hi and thank you. grumpy walters no thank you!

I wish I had ladies bringing me cake! Actually, come to think of it, maybe not! I'm sure my LSW would become even more suspicious of me than she already is! She barely tolerates one gorgeous blonde girlfriend - any more and she'd start throwing things...

i like happy smiles when I am shopping and Wiley usually gets a bit of laughter going. There isn't much to be happy about lately so cheering each other up is better than being a sour puss!!

Home-made cake sounds good! My wife recently made a pineapple upside-down cake for the first time, and it was delicious! And yes, we too have our 'favorite' clerks and cashiers, and those we try to avoid, for various reasons. Nope, doesn't make you biased! It's just an act of self-preservationon . . .
