it all looks so cold....beautiful and I love the birds and animals but brrrr...I suppose that is because it is so cold here.

That's thistle seed, tiny and long black seeds. A finch favorite, I hear.
Gas/petrol here is currently around $1.80 a gallon. Which is not the same as the Imperial gallon... I don't know the difference, but I think the Imperial is bigger, and they sell it in Canada. Unless they have gone to the liter. That Sinclair station is probably selling at $2 or more a gallon. It is the only place to get gas for miles and miles.

I like those little finches is that seed like small black sunflower seed, I put some out and today I saw a goldfinch the first this year. Is that petrol that you call gas sold by the gallon? How much roughly a gallon. It is coming down here, but it was like paying for a house rent. Loved the photo's.
