But you are missing all the hockey games!!!

I know you are enjoying the family - hope there will be lots of pictures. Want to see that lovely granddaughter doing her dance.

I'm glad you're soaking up that sunshine and enjoying time with family, and even happier that you're finding time to visit here and keep us updated!

It's kind of funny in a way, with all of the cold and snow and ice all around us now, for someone to head a post with the 'lazy days of summer!' It ain't summer around here! At least you're enjoying yourself . . .

Of course it will soon be Christmas where you are, time goes so quickly when one is enjoying oneself. Not much happening here, can't think of any news.Perhaps Wiley will dig you out a nice pool next year brrr.

I just love the idea of you relaxing around the pool and enjoying

all those summer activities with the kids, grands & etc...

There are warm places in the states too.  Friend Richard of Phoenix sent me a picture of a beautiful yellow iris blooming there in his garden.  It's one he bought here in Missouri near KC at the iris farm a year or so ago when he was visiting us.  It doesn't have any idea how cold it is here at this time.  It thinks it is spring everywhere.

My pale yellow iris, a Missouri native, must be a bit confused about what's going on here in the Sonoran desert. Shall I tell her it's Spring?
