Re: Re: My cat is only eating strained meat baby food now,

Your review has not shown up on the Amazon page for HEAT, maybe I am looking in the wrong place.

Re: Wiley

I will if she is in pain Bro. Yes the bottles are still glass if delivered but I don't know for how much longer. Of course 100 years ago there were hundreds of smallholdings people usually did other jobs beside. Remember there was not much of a pension in those days I suppose those with a bit of land could live a bit better especially if the children helped. You still have a good imagination Bro.

Re: adnohr

I don't know really how old , she came from along the road when a new cat was brought into the house. All these type of cats are quite nervous and a little while ago another cat must have torn her tummy because it was damaged. She licked it better, but I think once she must have been hit by a car, as she never seemed normal but used to follow me up and dowm the garden. I could never eat a goose .

I hope kitty is OK. Is it very old? I would certainly share the goose with the doggie.

ChiffChiff

I hope your cat will survive, perhaps go to a vet?

Can’t believe your milk is still in bottles Bro.

Seems that the farmers do all the work don’t make a fair living, except for the dairy farmers of course.

Love Arthur’s threat to you when he’s a badger.

Good of you to take the pig to the widow and make her delighted. Yes, obligations are needed paid Bro.

Can’t imagine a chap wanting to get goosed at all Bro. Well good on ya you got goosed after all, and with the head.

I can picture dog trying to lick the swinging head and even the pillow being made.

Re: Love that story of the Christmas goose, and all the characters

I actually think that the cat has got dementia Pat she just follows me inside and then wants to go out again. Well it is only a gentle story, youngsters would not beleive or want to read how there forebears struggled through life.

Re: Naut

Well it is a dying trade Naut but the largest firm is trying to offload the milk business, as it is not profitable . Yes I expect the old girl is quite 30 -35.

CCT

It's a wonder that they're still delivering milk in your neck of the woods. It's something that came to an end about forty years ago here...And the old lady may well be happy with the goose, even if it means more work for her, LOL...

My cat is only eating strained meat baby food now,

Nothing else seems to appeal to her. At 15 years, she pretty old and looks it. But she still purrs.

Love that story of the Christmas goose, and all the characters

who sparkle for a moment in the telling. If your cat is very old and ill, it may be a mercy if she gives up the ghost, but you will miss her. They have a way of taking ownership of a bit of us, even as they feign indifference.

I hope that your cat is feeling better.

Reading your poem has me thinking about Christmas.
