Once Ciel a man offered me his beautiful 4 bed house on a prime estate , He said you can have it for 6 thousand. Probably be half a million today. We were only saying the other day My dad had his bungalow built for 2 hundred pounds. But a loaf cost 4 pennies when there were 240 to the pound , so one could have in theory bought 60 loaves for a pound.

A seeded loaf we bought last week cost one pound and fifty pence. What seems expensive to me may not appear to be the same for younger folk. I am sure there are good deals in housing if one can suss them out, of course in built up areas the land costs the money.

I just went on a long trip through Bryce Canyon on your photo site - utterly amazing! I should really take a trip out West one of these days...And all the best to Marika and her husband on their house hunt!

I love Bryce Canyon.  Haven't been there for quite some time, but will never forget my visits there.  Love your posts about your family and your trips to be with them.
