Our family groups have come to include our chosen blogit family members, and even so, I know we are not all as shiny as we might appear here, nor as faultless as when we tell our own stories. But we are family, even with flaws and secrets, the unspoken truths of our lives and ourselves, because we choose to be. We learn from one another and from listening to ourselves tell our stories, seeing them from new angles.
I'm sorry it's rough for you right now... it will be better again. It will be rough again, too, and better again. So turns the great mandala.
Of course, if I were in your family group, your house would be crowded--with Charlie, and Davy, and my cat Violetta, and his cats Astrid and Sokka...

Going through a bad patch myself at the moment....Letting it go and letting God... I agree with you about toxic people. I am so happy for you to feel as though you are finding a Sister at last and feeling accepted. I cannot imagine how you could not be wanted. I would be happy if you wre in my family group...it isn't very big. Just me Wiley and MR. Graysome.

Enjoy that sense of family and sisterhood. It's amazing what a difference
it makes to feel like one of the family. When I got to that point 25 years ago, I began to wonder whether it was real (that sense of being an outsider) or just my perception. Doesn't matter. What matters is today.
