I sympathize! Even if it was my own grandson sharing my house, and renting out the space again would certainly help the budget, I am reluctant to have someone else move in. I think the costume idea a good one too.

I hope in the end

This will have turned out for the best and not put too much financial strain on you.

You need someone like a policewoman or a nurse Ciel. Not too young. That's what I would go for. Although that might not appeal to you. Anyway I think you rather unhappy, so maybe this is for the best. Sorry it happened this way though.

Re: Re: TAPS,

The costuming business would have to be highly interesting and lots of fun.

It can be tough to find a good housemate.

It's hard to know whether a housemate will work out - like a guy on a

first date, you only see the new paint job, you don't get to see how the motor runs or the gears mesh...

Re: TAPS,

I am thinking I might do better to turn the room to use for the costuming business.

Sorry it didn't work out! But I know from experience (way back!) - house mates are usually a pain in the - okay, let's say neck...

Sharing can get old in many ways (sometimes even when sharer is son).  However much time you have alone before you decide to share again (or not), enjoy it.

Re: Re: Kabu,

Don't blame you if you do. It is tough to share, even with grown up family.

Re: Kabu,

I may even decide to go on without the sharing thing.

Selfish lazy thoughtless and he will eventually grow up all come to mind. It does help with the rent but perhaps a couple of weeks of just to yourself would be nice.
