I can remember doing those RCAF excercises that Naut mentions in his comment! I can remember seeing that calendar too - those ladies were great!

A great actress and she was in a series that i really enjoyed. British but I forget the name...and yes, nothing flaky about this lady.

I know the name, of course, but offhand I couldn't remember her appearance, so I did a bit of digging. Yes, Helen does look very good, and I found there's a Canadian connection:
“I’m not very fit at all actually [Helen says]. Just this morning I started my exercises, which I haven’t been doing for months, maybe years. I do a thing that leads me into exercise. It is the Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan,” she said. “It is 12 minutes, and they have charts you follow. Each day, you have to do the exercises within the 12 minutes, and until you can, you can’t move up.”
Way to go, Helen, I'm sure you'll move up soon...

Yes I quite like her Pat. I don't know why I was never offered a calendar. Although I remember seeing the ladies looking rather cute, partially teasing behind some innocent looking objects.

You have a sensitivity to other people's feelings, but she seems like someone who gets her feelings of worth from knowing what's right or more likely wrong with the world. And 'keeping up appearances.'
