Re: Naut

I like yellow roses but not so much in some flowers/ I suppose I was thinking of the famous one. Cheers.

CCT

I popped in yesterday but got interrupted before telling you that I love the rose - yellow ones are my favorites! And your peom reminds me of a lady's portrait painted by a court artist...

Re: adnohr

Thank you adnohr nice to see you lurking around as our dear Kabu told me.

I do hope you feel a bit happier after your sad loss. Shall we bump her?

Lovely flower, a poem to muse on. Smiles are important to our health, and paint can suffocate....

Re: I'm glad the exercise on the bed was helpful!

Yes Ciel it seems to be doing the trick apart from me being very careful not to bend down too far, I remember now I did trip over, but it was on grass. I expect Charlie will have had two nice buttonholes by the time you get back. I don't really know what that plant is.

Re: Pat

I suppose it is too cold to plant in the Autumn in your climate. I might try wintering some in a cold greenhouse. It is a job with those pesky squirrels I suppose it needs some wire netting to keep them away. I wish it would rain here, I expect it will be a thunderstorm eventually.

Re: Taps

I don't think I have had peach ice cream Taps.I shall certainly keep a look out for that flavour, it sounds fab. Yes we don't want to hear about complaints, we all have enough of our own.

Re: Jimmy

Well I haven't had much response yet, but Ciel is assured of her cut. I think I may have cracked it as long as I don't kneel, or succumb.

Re: Wiley

Well I bought a pair of soles to go inside my shoes and they were supposed to cure everything, trouble was I had to buy a larger size pair of shoes to get them to fit. Happy walking Bro.

Chiff Chaff

Loved your poetry and the colour of your flowers Bro.I spent a fortune on shoes yesterday, like Kabu, but by golly I can walk again almost painlessly. Have a jolly weekend Bro.

Your poem is a heart warmer matey. I am now off to post a blog about the expensive shoes that I bought to help my Back and Knees....

Hey, wait a minute now! Ciel gives you the remedy 'for free' and now you're going to charge the rest of us ten dollars for it? What's Ciel's cut?  I hope you have a pain-free weekend . . .

"I hope everyone does not start discussing their aches

and pains. I thought of it first remember."   LOL

That rose looks good enough to eat.  I'll bet it tastes something like peach ice cream.

It's raining here today - overcast as Seattle and almost makes me feel

homesick. I do like a gentle steady rain, don't even mind being wet. Your stories about the sweetpeas begin to make me think I should grow some next year. Set up some strings for them to climb and put a bit of mint along with them so the squirrels will stay away...

I'm glad the exercise on the bed was helpful!

The rose is beautiful, my favorite kind of colors. Charlie says there are two blooms now on my Joseph's Coat climber.
