I completely agree with everything written here. I know that following a bout of loose bowel, or vomitting, the potassium from a banana will balance the body after losing electrolites during one those trying times.
Most days I have banana and unsalted nuts on my cereal with 1% milk and that fills me and gives me the energy for my gardening.
