If I ever build a house, it will have solar panels,
a composting toilet - no septic system required - and a backup generator. It will be
much smaller with built-in storage space, all on one level with a handy bunker in case of typhoon, tornado or other high winds and its own well. Off the grid? Maybe. There will be a garden.
