I used to take a group at the nursing home most mornings...and I found it most interesting how they loved to talk about Mother and or their Father. Most interesting stories they would tell of school and coming home and what the family did on the weekends. They really weren't interested in the depression years but would then go on to chat about holidays and picnics and such with their own children.

About dating - I always found universities to be the most promising (and delivering), deep bodies of water...
