Sir Wiley! Thou art heroic and the bravest of knights!

And this.

this one was a poisonous Kabu muncher and had to go.

This made me laugh out loud.

Do be careful climbing up on chairs Kabu, one slip and it would be nasty. I'll tell you a little tale of woe. A man we saw walking along the ridge of the  roof of his bungalow up and along using a mobile phone backwards and forwards I have the photo.  Yes well he was putting some wooden panels on the roof of his van not very high is it. He slipped off broke his arm damaged his brain beside other injuries and will probably not work again.      Please look through the keyhole. Or get a periscope. I just pick spiders up in my cupped hand if they look friendly.

Kabu

Well, we know Wiley is a hero, even if he hadn't slaughtered that poor, harmless, itsy-bitsy spider that was just minding its business and yours, by getting rid of nasties...

Looking at that beast just gave me willies, BIG TIME!!!!  I hate spiders, too.  Always have, but all the more so since I was bitten by one which gave me my damned celluitis.  All hail Poppy Wiley Coyote!

Your gopher friends are just adorable.

I've been watching for spiders, watching but hoping I won't see any.

How lucky to have a knight well versed in conquering spiders

by your side. As for the gophers, be wary of stepping into their tunnels and losing your balance...

We have several rabbits who 'invade' our yard from time to time, and they're more than welcome to devour any type of weed they'd like! Any time any area of our yard gets a little 'out of hand,' my wife always says "We need a goat!" I'm thinking of looking into renting one! Couldn't hurt, right? And think of all that free cheese . . .

It has been awhile since I have seen a gopher. The bugs have been something down in Maryland this year.

I am glad Wiley got the spider. I have a phobia to snakes, we have bad ones here and all of them are dangerous to me. Sorry this happened to you.
