well join the crowd of oldies that overdo.  i guess it is because we delight in our doing now, every day being a gift and we want to do as much as we can for as long as we have.

I'm reading this a day late, so I hope you are both feeling better today.
I love it that little hummingbirds (or the same one often, LOL) visit my petunias.

Kabu

The mockingbird in front of the library Downtown in the city was hit by a car, and thrown until the sidewalk near the side entrance smashed. It follows a nuthatch that apparently flew into the window of the department store up the main street. But on Tuesday I saw a bunny rabbit in the foundation planting of the old Baptist church next to a river (tributary size) trail across from the library Downtown. And up North where I live, the hit raccoon moves from the bank under the trestle onto the sidewalk and back. One time was from the rain. In any event,  happy spring love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

It seems as though you are taking full advantage of the nice weather that has finally come! But, as always, you'v got to pace yourself! Those hummingbirds are wonderful to observe, but don't try to emulate one! You can't beat your wings that fast . . .

Some days when the frog sings and the sun is warm

and the quarter moon still sails the clear blue sky at noon
I like the way nature sets the scene.
And then the bee stings, the dog barks,
squirrels dig up the new potted plants
and frustration grits my teeth.

.What flowers are you growing this year Kabu. I am trying several new ones this year.

Noticed the first scented sweet pea has just bloomed. It has been so dry here, but this  morning  a lovely soft rain is reviving everything one can almost see it growing.

I bet Wiley loves those squirrels. The black birds are becoming a niusance they are eyeing up the strawberries. Net time me thinks.

Please do rest enough. Sounds wonderful but can be a bad trip if you get worn out. Love you both, I know it will be pretty.

Oh, that Mama is a rascal!

I still have not seen mine again.  I hope she was safely tucked in where the hail didn't get to her.

Your garden is going to be a lush delight!
