Such fun it seems for the little animal sanctuary in Camelot. I love the way you take care of all life. Have a blessed and wonderful Easter. We love you both.

I think I should concentrate on squirrel raising . Hang up more bags, you seem to have cracked it. I am glad the fan works, if it stops the sleep doda, it will be worth it. I actually bought a little gadget that straps on the wrist it needs two gel pads to make a connection I could not find any anywhere seems the firm does not make them any longer. So I cut jelly babies down the middle and use them. The gadgect gives one an electric  shock if one begins to show symptoms of snoring. No only from a tiny battery, stick to the fan.

Re: TAPS

that looks so beautiful and of course you really are gifted. Now if I can find a rock in an egg shape some time I shall try to paint it like an Easter egg. You have set me a task i cannot resist.

Have you painted an egg rock for Easter, or a rock egg?  Years ago I made one of those hollow sugar eggs and decorated the inside with tiny bunnies and chicks and fancied the opening and other outside parts with that icing that gets really hard.  We had it for years, getting it out every easter.  I wonder what happened to it.  It was sort of like this one from Pinterest, only the flowers weren't as good:

I hope the Easter Bunny doesn't freeze its tail off...

It is neat to see nature in action...I cannot believe that it is Easter week either. Like you said, for me, it is how late it is in the year. Also, Easter last year was in March.

Re: Well, congrats to mama squirrel. I just realized there have been none

PAT

What a lovely display for you to enjoy.  I bet that you have a present somewhere too, with Mama White Ears keeping careful watch over the tiny bundles of joy.

Well, congrats to mama squirrel. I just realized there have been none

in my yard for a couple of days - at least not Mama White Ears...

Did I tell you about the tickle-fight I saw between Brown bunny and one of the squirrels about 3 days ago? There they were, eyeball-to-eyeball next to a bare spot in the middle of the back yard, when squirrel hops up and touches bunny across the chest while Bunny sits on her (his?) haunches. So Bunny reaches back, and the fight is on, hopping straight up in the air, doing aerial somersaults, first one and then the other playing tag-you're-it and running away. It lasted for several minutes and made me wish I had a video camera... And then squirrel walked casually toward that little hole under the fence and Bunny retreated to her space under the barberry bushes, ears up and just waiting...

Happy Easter to you and Poppy and Mr. Graysome too, Grandmummy.  Perhaps you could cook a nice meal just for the two of you and watch some old movies?
