Thanks, that is a great compliment.

It's all about focus and lighting, which the camera pretty much does, and an eye for visual balance of composition.  After that, it's about simple photo editing, and again, an eye for balance: of color, light and shadow, and proportion.

From what I have seen of your shots, you have the eye for composition, which is the main thing.

Quite interesting Ciel . even a dahlia I believe very similar one is being sold as one of The Bisop's series. The one in New Zealand. Now you will tell me it isn't a dahlia.

Wow, quite a batch of wonders - love the Spirit Lake view & others

around Mt. St. Helens, amazing cedar stumps from antiquity and one beautiful artistic spider web. Makes me miss having my woods to hike in.
