I hope your cat and your dragon get along better than Archie and his FIL...And I decided a while ago not to carry cash to help me avoid temptation. But then I discovered that those damn plastic cards are even worse...

Re: Ciel

Crikey Davy you have hands don't see many of those these days. When the sweet peas are about three inches high pinch the tops out to make them shoot more stems. If you do not they will just grow the main shoot.

Re: Re: Re: C_C_T

No, no Taps I couldn't stand the stress I only have three blog sites. It needs some one with your expertise to do it. Pity Kabu is not here we could have put the onus onto her.

Re:Pat

Never trust a cat Pat. dogs are simple creatures although I don't like big ones. Once when I started work I had to go to a smallholding to deliver pariffin. I felt nervous because there was a lot of dogs chasing around usually. That day I was relieved to see they were all shut in I walked bravely up to the house and something made me turn round, There was the biggest dog I had ever seen looking straight into my face. I didn't half grumble at my Dad afterwards.

Re: Re: C_C_T

Please get chatty.  You do "chatty" so well.  I didn't realize you meant you would do a Pet Post yourself.  Please take over.

Chiff Chaff, I love to read and re-read your posts, and watch what

your ideas grow into in the comments section. I never before ever thought of cats as having the eyes of dragons, but now that I've seen your sprouting ideas, it makes perfect sense. What fun!

Re: Re: I like your cat.

I will try that with the sweet peas.  My grandmother had them all over the back fence, and I loved the smell of them in the summer!

Re: I like your cat.

Lo Ciel one can give a dog a smack and he will forgive you a minute later, not so with a cat. Wouldn't you love to put your doggie in the Pets Gallery?  By the way you could plant

your sweet peas in compost on the window sill and get an early start scented ones are nice.

Re: Jimmy

I get one stray cat after another Jimmy. They soon improve and look friendly when it is meal time. Yes one has to be careful what one wishes for, I know a few dragons who have a nice smile.

Re: Taps

Bonny . Are you going to start one Taps? You must get in whilst the idea is fermenting. I suppose I could close one of my blogs and use that, but I would prefer you to do it as you are doing fine with the other one and I might get a bit catty.

Easy come . . . easy go! Today it's a fiver, tomorrow it'll be a half a crown! What a pretty kitty! And he/she looks friendly too. And I guess hoping for a 'pet dragon' is probably better than hoping for a 'pet gargoyle' . . .

I like your cat.

A cat of nearly any kind
has dragon's eyes and a dragon's mind.

And, yes, on just about any day, it is cheaper to stay at home.

Reading about the dragon you want reminds me of a classmate of mine back in middle school who had an iguana...An interesting search it will be.
