Re: Re: Ceil

When one is young, one expects the magic, and believes in it. Age and experience bring a skeptical note to life.

Re: Ceil

I know Ciel and one tends to think the chosen one is something special, all one can hope for really is harmony and someone who does not begin to grate on one's nerves after a few years. Of course when one is young one just wants the magic.

Chiff Chaff

I think you need to be more grateful of Arthur, after all he's doing the cooking Bro.

CCT

Maybe you should introduce Arthur to a chef's knife and its uses, and teach him the secret of slicing tomatoes before tossing them into the pan, LOL...And you should never, even obliquely, admit that all men deceive - let them figure that out for themselves...

Arthur and I had something in common today.  I fried a mishmash of leftovers in a pan to use them up before starting on the new stuff that I purchased at the market.  Actually, the mishmash turned out pretty tasty.

He could cut the thing into small pieces and it would cook the same, but add more flavor...Oh yes, I forgot...You are in England.

That Sooty must be one sound sleeper! At least I hope he was sound asleep!  And I suppose one advantage of frying up a dish called 'mish mash' is that you could probably put almost anything in it, and there's no wrong way to make it! Or is there . . . ?

It is tough running a Mom and Pop store with the large firms out there...I would like to think that there is still time for a reprieve...

Men talk a lot when they are wooing a woman. Girls shouls laugh to themselves and sift through the promises for what is practical to expect...If only I had know this years ago. Of course Wiley is different. He is everything I knew he would be. i do enjoy Chumpet. and Arthur should grow his own cherry tomatoes. One can grow them on the window sill inside and pick for the pot.

Women are often deceived, when they believe what men tell them

but I don't think it's because men are deceitful, so much as they make promises they can't, or decide not to keep.

Some men.  Come to think of it, some women, too.
